Ex-integrante do grupo de rap Posse Reagir, Santoz construiu uma trajetória sólida, colaborando com nomes da cena independente do rap nacional e participando de projetos como a Banda Cia. dos Músicos, onde explorou as nuances do jazz fusion.
Com lançamentos como o Santoz - EP / VOL. 1, 2 e 3 (2015), que navegou pelos estilos da música negra, e o Studio Session Vol. 1 (2016), um registro ao vivo de sua performance com banda, Santoz demonstrou sua versatilidade e paixão pela música. Não se limitando a um único gênero, o artista também presenteou o público com o samba autoral "Dinheiro é Prestígio" (2018) e o envolvente single "Me Permitir" (2019), cujo clipe foi gravado em parceria internacional com a produtora Free Dation (Angola).

Este trabalho representa um marco em sua carreira, unindo-o à pianista de jazz japonesa Yuko Mabuchi e ao lendário pianista e produtor norte-americano Billy Mitchell. O álbum é uma fusão eletrizante que celebra a complexidade rítmica e a riqueza harmônica, misturando o ritmo vibrante do samba com a sofisticação do jazz e incorporando elementos de R&B, funk e soul.
O encontro inspirador entre Santoz e Yuko Mabuchi na praia de Ipanema resultou em uma parceria que transborda amor pela música, com Yuko contribuindo como arranjadora e pianista em todas as faixas – e sendo homenageada no single “Yuko Toca Samba”.

With a unique style, Santoz incorporates vibrant elements of R&B, funk, and soul, always with that unmistakable Brazilian touch.
His musical journey is marked by a deep respect for tradition and an incessant pursuit of innovation. A former member of the rap group Posse Reagir, Santoz has built a solid career, collaborating with independent artists from the national rap scene and participating in projects like Banda Cia. dos Músicos, where he explored the nuances of jazz fusion.
With releases such as Santoz - EP / VOL. 1, 2 e 3 (2015), which navigated the styles of black music, and Studio Session Vol. 1 (2016), a live recording of his performance with his band, Santoz demonstrated his versatility and passion for music.
